Amy Beshel, PT

Amy was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated as Valedictorian from John S. Shaw High School in 1985 and went on to pursue a career in health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from The University of South Alabama in 1989.

With nearly 36 years of experience in the field, Amy began her career in Acute Care and has since worked across a wide range of settings, including Long-Term Inpatient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing (where she served as Rehab Director), Sports Medicine, and her favorite—Outpatient Physical Therapy. She is passionate about building strong connections with her patients and finds deep fulfillment in helping improve their physical—and often mental—well-being.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family. She has two grown children, a daughter and a son, both married, as well as one grandchild and another on the way. In her free time, she loves RV camping with her husband, reading, and crocheting.
