Alyssa Griffis, PTA
Alyssa Griffis is a Baldwin County native who joined Fairhope Physical Therapy in 2020 as a tech while pursuing her dream of becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her passion for physical therapy is rooted in her desire to help others and her personal commitment to overall well-being.
Before stepping into the world of physical therapy, Alyssa earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from Coastal Alabama Community College. This background has given her a unique perspective in assessing challenges and crafting individualized treatment plans for her patients. She went on to earn her PTA degree from Bishop State Community College in 2022.
Since graduating, Alyssa has focused on outpatient therapy, where she has gained valuable experience treating a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, geriatric, neurological, and sports-related conditions. She is dedicated to creating a positive and uplifting environment for her patients, often challenging herself to make each one smile—because she believes laughter and positivity are powerful forms of medicine.
When she’s not in the clinic, you can find Alyssa soaking up the sun on the Gulf Coast beaches or spending quality time with her dog, friends, and family.
