Thomas Abbott, OT, CHT

Thomas earned his Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Alabama and has built a distinguished career specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. He is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and a Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist (CMLDT), bringing advanced expertise to his practice.

Over the years, he has served in several leadership roles, including Director of Occupational Therapy at both Thomas Hospital and South Baldwin Hospital. He also owned and operated a successful private hand therapy clinic, where he provided individualized, specialized care to patients recovering from complex hand and upper limb conditions.

Dedicated to his profession and patients, he continues to find great joy in helping others regain function and improve their quality of life. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and staying active in his professional community.
